A proposed redevelopment of the historic Barclay Plaza property in Miami Beach’s Museum Historic District, preserving historically significant Art Deco elements while adding new residential construction and community-oriented ground-floor uses.
A Carthage principal played a major role in underwriting the opportunity, pursuing the winning redevelopment proposal, negotiating with the City of Miami Beach, and assembling the project team while working with the Legacy Real Estate Development team. The project was not developed by Carthage or the Salcedo Group. The latest public proposal describes approximately 105 residences, neighborhood retail, and shared amenities; proposals remain subject to approvals.
